The east and west parts of Uttar Pradesh received rainfall or thundershowers, MeT department said today.
Moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers occurred at many places over west Uttar Pradesh, while light to moderate rain or thundershowers were recorded at a few places in eastern parts of the state in the past 24 hours, according to the MeT department.
The chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms was Mahroni 13, Garotha 8, Lalitpur 7, Jhansi and Agra 5 each, Naraini and Mauranipur 4 each, Lalganj, Karvi and Moth 3 each, Phoolpur, Rasra, Fatehpur, Dharahra, Mau, Etawah, Maudha, Rath and Mahoba 2 each.
The MeT department said rains or thundershowers will occur at few places in eastern and western UP tomorrow.
