Rains lash Delhi

The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year. At 26.8 degrees C, the minimum temperature was also at normal level.

Rain gauges recorded 14.5 mm of rainfall from 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM, the MeT office said.

The showers affected vehicular traffic at major intersections like ITO and Laxmi Nagar. The city has been witnessing rains on and off since the onset of monsoon in June.

Rains eluded the capital yesterday with sun shining brightly and the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degree Celsius, two degrees above normal.

Today, the humidity was between 95 and 62 per cent.

 

The Weatherman has predicted one or two spells of rain in the capital tomorrow. The mercury will be between 26 and 34 degree Celsius.
