The five-day long event, organised at Balbir Singh Juneja Stadium, is open for under-20 age group.
"Around 750 participants, including boys and girls from 30 states of the country and different affiliated sport bodies, coaches and officials will come to Raipur," Chhattisgarh Fencing Association president Sonmani Bora said.
Chhattisgarh Governor, Shekhar Dutt will inaugurate the championships, while Chief Minister Raman Singh will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony, he said.
The matches will be played on the 'League-cum-knock out' basis.
The Indian team for the Junior Asian Fencing Championship will be selected on the basis of this tournament.
