Raj: 4 children die after falling into water reservoir

Four children died after falling into a water reservoir when they were taking a bath at Dugari village in Rajasthan's Bundi district, police said.

A girl drowned while three of her friends, who had jumped in it to save her, died at a hospital, SHO at the Nainwa Police Station Lakhan Lal Meena said.

They had gone to take a bath at the reservoir, which was recently constructed, he said.

The bodies have been handed over to their families after post-mortem, the SHO said.

In another incident, a 13-year-old girl drowned in a pond at Kamleshwar Mahadev temple in the district while her three siblings were rescued by locals, SHO at Indergarh Police Station Purshotam Mahariya said.
