The Congress today created uproar in the Rajasthan legislative assembly as it accused the BJP-led government of "selling" out heritage properties of the state in the name of disinvestment, leading to adjournment of the House three times for one hour each.
During the Zero Hour, Congress deputy whip Govind Singh Dotasara alleged that the government wanted to sell out two important heritage properties -- Khasakothi hotel in Jaipur and hotel Anand Bhawan in Udaipur -- to foreign-based companies in the name of disinvestment.
He demanded assurance from the government that the properties would not be disinvested in the interest of the state.
