Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria today lauded the state Anti Corruption Bureau for unearthing a major case of graft in the Mining department allegedly involving senior officials including IAS officer Ashok Singhvi.
"We must appreciate the efforts of the ACB team which unearthed the corruption case after several days of hard work.
"The team got inputs about graft in the department and the deal following which raids were conducted yesterday (in Udaipur and Bhilwara)," Kataria told reporters.

Singhvi, who is the Principal Secretary (Mines) in Rajasthan, was arrested in the wee hours of today in the eighth arrest in the bribery case involving clearance for reopening of six closed mines of a miner.
The total seizure of money in this case yesterday was Rs 4.28 crore and it included cash and money deposited in bank accounts, ACB officials said.
