Raj employees union strike enters 7th day, govt work affected

Government works were affected due to the ongoing strike by employees of Rajasthan State Ministerial Employees Union, which entered seventh day today.

They have been demanding the grade pay of Rs 3,600 and pay equivalent to state secretariat employees.

According to union representatives, ministerial employees from 90 departments are taking part in the strike.

"We have three-point demand, including the revocation of government decision to roll back increased pay, a pay band of Rs 3600 and also pay parity with employees of state secretariat," said Manoj Saxena, the state president of the union.
