Farmers in Rajasthan today said they would re-launching their agitation at district headquarters across the state as they accused the Vasundhara Raje-led BJP government of failing to fulfill the loan-waiver promise.

Former MLA Amra Ram and state president of Kisan Sabha Pema Ram said the government had agreed to waive off loans of farmers up to Rs 50,000 and other 10 demands, but is yet to fulfill them even after passing of three months.

The movement will start once again from panchayats to district headquarters, and if our demands are not met, the farmers will protest in Jaipur in February (next year), Amra Ram said.

However, it was not immediately known when will farmers begin their protest at panchayats and district headquarters.

The farmers had on September 14 ended their two-week-long protest after the government agreed to waive off their farm loans up to Rs 50,000.
