Raj first state to resolve 90 pc consumer cases in a year

Rajasthan has become the first state in the country to resolve around 90 per cent consumer cases in a year, a senior official claimed today.

State Consumer Commission's Chairman Justice Ashok Parihar, while quoting a report of registrar of state consumer commission at a consumer forum meet here, said Rajasthan has become the first state in the country to resolve around 90 per cent cases in a year expeditiously.

He also emphasised to provide infrastructure facilities to the consumer courts and to launch an awareness campaign in new trends of marketing for consumers.

A number of consumer organisation and fora chairman were felicitated on this occasion.
