Rajasthan government today directed authorities to check spread of seasonal diseases and also to remain vigilant of Ebola Virus Disease.
Rajasthan Health Minister Rajendra Rathore asked officials to focus on taking anti-larval measures, use of Mosquito Larvicidal Oil on accumulated water, temephos- a larvicide used to treat water infested with disease-carrying insects including mosquitoes, midges, and black fly- in water tanks, a spokesperson said.
The minister also asked them to remain alert for the Ebola virus as the World Health Organisation has declared the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak as the most complex outbreak leading to public health emergency.
