Raj govt inks 37 MoUs for tourism sector

Rajasthan government today signed 37 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 2,349 crore with investors in tourism sector.

The MoUs signed were for setting up of hotel, resort, and museum, among others and will create job opportunities for over 6,000 persons, Principal Secretary Tourism S K Agrawal said.

He said the number of MoUs signed shows the interest of investors in the tourism sector in the state and said the government would provide all possible support for the development of the tourism industry.

"Besides creating job opportunities, the investment will also help increase the availability of rooms for tourists in the state", he said.
 

Director Tourism Anil Kumar Chaplot and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
