Raj govt organises 1st of its kind bird fair in Ajmer

In a first of its kind event, the Rajasthan government has organised a bird fair where birds coming from different countries can be seen in the famous Ana Sagar lake in Ajmer.

Chairman of Rajasthan Kisan Ayog and Member of Parliament Prof Sanwar Lal Jat and Minister of State for Education Vasudev Devnani inaugurated the fair.

Birds from different countries are coming in the lake for the past many years but bird fair is being organised for the first time.

Rajasthan Patrika and the district administration are organising the fair where school students can also take part in spot-drawing and painting competitions. A bird exhibition is also being organised by Bird Conservation Society.
 

Editor of the daily Upender Sharma said different types of birds including Siberian birds have reached the Ana Sagar lake from end of last month. The fair will continue till Thursday.
