Rajasthan government today referred the case against former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Union MoS Sachin Pilot and others related to alleged monetary irregularities in '108' ambulance service, to the CBI.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje yesterday gave her consent to the proposal of state police to transfer the case to CBI and the state government today wrote to the Centre in this regard, a senior official of the home department told PTI.
Rajasthan DGP Omendra Bharadwaj had recommended the state government to hand over the case to the CBI.

Besides Gehlot and Pilot, Joshi has named former state health minister A A Khan, Karti Chidambaram, son of former Union minister P Chidambaram and Ravi Krishna, son of former Union minister Vayalar Ravi, Sweta Mangal, then CEO of Ziquitza Healthcare, Shaffi Mather, former Economic Advisor to Kerala CM Oommen Chandy and the NRHM Director.
He accused them of being involved in alleged monetary irregularities to the tune of Rs 2.56 crore in the 108 ambulance service.
