A revised interim representation was handed over to a central government team which visited the state yesterday to assess the loss, a spokesperson said.
The team visited Nagaur, Bikaner, Barmer and Jaisalmer districts before meeting the senior state government officials, he said.
Sowing has also trailed behind in the state as a result of deficient rains in the beginning of the monsoon season this year, he said.
Three districts of Sirohi, Jalore and Barmer, out of total 33, in the desert state have received deficient rain while the rainfall is normal in 19 districts.
Sikar recorded above 60 per cent of normal and ten districts recorded 20 to 59 per cent above normal.
Despite this, agricultural production and its quantity have been affected because of the delay in monsoon and it is certain that the production will be comparatively down, so the government has asked for the funds, he said.
