Raj govt to develop cement concrete roads in mining area

The Rajasthan government today said roads in mining areas will be developed as cement concrete roads and private vehicles using them will be exempted from any toll.

Replying to a question in the assembly, Public Works Department Minister Yunus Khan said, Rs 50 crore were allotted in the last Budget for the development of roads in mining area but now the roads in such areas will be developed as CC (cement concrete) road.

On such roads, toll tax will be charged from commercial vehicles only and private vehicles will be exempted, he said.

In response to a question related with cooperative, State Minister for cooperative Ajay Singh informed the house that audit of all the cooperative committees will be conducted in the Financial Year 2016-17.
 

40 per cent audit has been completed so far, he added.

Education Minister (primary and secondary) Vasudev Devnani assured the house that the government was committed for the education sector and one higher secondary level school is being opened up in each gram panchayat.
