Rajasthan government today said facilities in public libraries will be improved in the state, particularly in rural areas, for which a plan will be chalked out.
Advisory committees will be formed which would work to improve the condition and facilities in public libraries, School Education Minister Vasudev Devnani, chairing a meeting of Rajasthan State Library Council, said.
The committees will be constituted under the council at the state, division, district and Panchayat level within next three months, he said.

In the meeting, Devnani also reviewed utilisation of budget allotted for the development of the libraries.
The minister also suggested the council to provide Wi-Fi facility in the libraries in rural areas.
Secretary, Elementary and Secondary Education, Nareshpal Gangwar, and other officers of the department were present in the meeting.
