Raj govt to move SC for possession of 'Udaipur House' in Delhi

Rajasthan government has decided to move Supreme Court against Delhi government to take possession of the 'Udaipur House' located in Civil Lines area in the national capital, a senior official said today.

"Delhi government is not giving the possession of Udaipur House to the Rajasthan government. It has been vacated by them but they have not handed over the possession," Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, Rajasthan government, Rakesh Srivastava said today.

He informed that the Rajasthan government has decided to move Supreme Court to get the possession of the property and a lawyer has been instructed to file a writ petition in the matter.
 

The Udaipur House is spread across an area of nearly 12,000 sq meters close to Delhi's Tis Hazari court.
