Raj govt transfers 66 IPS officers

In a reshuffle in Rajasthan's police department, state government has transferred 66 IPS officers, including one director general, seven additional director generals, and SPs of 17 districts.

Special Director General (Administration, law and Order) Navdeep Singh was made DG-ACB, while N R K Reddy, who was awaiting posting orders, will be the new ADG Administration, Law and Order, according to a DoP order issued last night.

Hemant Purohit, ADG headquarters was made ADG Personnel where as Bhupendra Singh, who was pro vice-chancellor of Sardar Patel University of Police Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur, will take the post of ADG headquarters.
 

ADG (state disaster relief force) Umesh Mishra was shifted as ADG-CID (Civil Rights).

He will be replaced by Ravi Prakash Mehrada, who was Inspector General of Kota Range and has been promoted to ADG (state disaster relief force).

ADG (jail) Bhupendra Kumar Dak has been transferred to ACB as ADG and Indu Kumar Bhushan ADG (law) will take charge of ADG (jail).

14 Inspector Generals (IG) and 35 SP rank officials have been transferred in the reshuffle.
