Government universities in Rajasthan will prepare recruitment calendars to fill academic and non- academic posts in a time-bound manner.
Governor Kalyan Singh gave directions in this regard at the Vice Chancellors' coordination committee meeting here today.
Chairing the meeting, the Governor said any irregularity in the recruitment process will be taken seriously.

The universities will have to issue calendar and the recruitment process will be conducted accordingly, a Raj Bhawan release said.
The Governor, who by virtue of his office is the Chancellor of state universities, also asked the VCs to prepare a placement policy and conduct recruitment fairs.
"The universities should also play a role of facilitator of Start Up India, Stand Up India and Make in India programmes," the release quoting the Governor said.
In the meeting, it was also decided to install a statue of Swami Vivekananda on the premises of the universities.
Decision for imparting free education to deaf and mute students was among other decisions taken in the meeting, the statement said.
Next meeting of the coordination committee will take place in February next year, it added.
