State Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria today refused to remove an SHO, justifying the action taken by the police against student union leaders who had blocked the roads following a clash between two groups last month.
During the zero hour in Rajasthan Assembly, BJP legislator Banwari Lal Singhal raised a question, to which Kataria responded by saying that police action is justified and none is above the law.
Singhal had demanded to remove the SHO (Station House Officer) on alleged misbehavior with some leaders of students' union.

"The matter is in my knowledge. Police action is justified and the accused will be arrested under the case registered by the police," Kataria said.
Earlier, Opposition chief whip Govind Singh Dotasara, independent MLA Hanuman Beniwal and other legislators tried to attack the government on rising police atrocities.
However, the Speaker did not permit them and instructed to strike down the comments of opposition.
Meanwhile, State health minister Kalicharan Saraf today said that community health centres are established on the laid guidelines of Union government.
He was answering to the supplementary questions raised by legislators in the state assembly during question hour. The minister said that ample health services are being provided as per the norms.
He assured that additional doctors will be appointed if the number of patients reporting at primary health care centre is high.
