Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today said that her office Raj Nivas was a vital bridge between the Union Territory of Puducherry and the Centre.
In a whatsapp message to the media persons here from Delhi, she said the "Raj Nivas will never misrepresent and has to protect larger interests of the people and ensure protection of the marginalised".
Bedi who is participating in the two-day conference of Governors and Lt Governors in New Delhi, which started yesterday.

Asserting that "the office of Lt Governor is the last office for people in Puducherry and will always respond to and rebut misinformation".
The former IPS officer who had been at loggerheads with the government on several occasions on various issues, said that Raj Nivas "has been converted into People's Nivas through open house programme".
She contended that the office of Lt Governor should remain the most trusted office and should be one which people believe that it stands for justice and relief.
Raj Nivas is a vital bridge between the Union Territory and the Centre as said by the President in the Governors' conference.
