Raj officials asked to resolve Gujjar agitation matters

Rajasthan Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore today directed officials to resolve pending matters related to the Gujjar agitations that have taken place in recent years.

The directions were issued in a meeting here between the Committee of Ministers and a delegation of Gujjar leaders.

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi and Food and Civil Supply Minister Hem Singh Bhadana along with Rathore held discussions with them.

They assured the government is committed to fulfilling its promises made to the Gujjar community during the agitation.

The pending cases were reviewed in the meeting which was attended by Principal Secretary Home Deepak Upreti and senior police officials, a release said.
