"There is no income source left with him (Raj Thackeray), as a reason he has started doing this 'hafta vasuli' (extortion) at the toll posts," Uddhav alleged.
Warning his estranged cousin Raj "not to come in the way of Shiv Sena", he claimed the MNS chief "feels most insecure in his own party."
Commenting on Raj's allegations that senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel met Shiv Sena leaders at a hotel here on backing Pranab Mukherjee as a presidential nominee, Uddhav dared him to prove it.
"He should prove where and which Sena leader met Ahmed Patel. He should not entertain people by making such allegations. His remarks make him a laughing stock," he said addressing a press conference here.
"After the BMC results he has got annoyed and has therefore started the blame-game," Uddhav said.
