Opposition Congress in Rajasthan today said it will raise in the assembly session, which begins tomorrow, issues like death of cows at Hingaunia Gaushala and compensation to farmers for crop loss, among others.

"Several hundreds of cows died in Hingaunia Gaushala due to negligence on part of administration and government. Despite instructions of the High Court, the arrangements remained pathetic. The issue will be raised in the assembly by the Congress," a Congress legislator said.

"Farmers have not been given adequate and timely compensation for losses. They have suffered and such issues will also be raised in the assembly to corner the government," he said.

The session will begin with obituary remarks followed by a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee that will decide the days of sitting and business to be taken up by the house, Chief Whip of the Government Kalulal Gurjar said.

He informed that the government's initiative Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan will be highlighted in the assembly.
