Searing heat today continued unabated across Rajasthan with Barmer recording the highest maximum temperature of 43.6 degrees Celsius.
According to MeT office, Kota recorded a maximum of 41.9 degrees Celsius while Chittorgarh and Jaisalmer 41.5 degrees C each.
Jodhpur and Bikaner recorded the maximum temperatures of 41.2 and 41 degrees C, it said, whereas Jaipur, Churu and Ajmer recorded 40.3, 41.1 and 40 degrees C respectively.
MeT office, in a forecast, said the weather would remain the same during next 24 hours.
