"The state government wants to monitor progress of works and projects related with the railways undergoing in the state for which we are planning a special cell for such matters which will function under the transport ministry of the state government," Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot told a press conference here.
Flanked by Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa, Gehlot said, "Rajasthan has been on top of the priority of Railway ministry and so many related projects are running in the state. MPs do have their suggestions and demands regarding railways...We wish we get all such inputs for better functioning and coordination," he said.
Muniyappa said Railways is focusing on eliminating unmanned railway crossings.
