The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is likely to witness a stormy Budget session with Opposition Congress planning to corner the Raje government on the issues of power tariff hike, increase in VAT on fuel, among others.
The Budget session of the Assembly will begin on February 25.
The ruling BJP and Opposition Congress will hold their legislators' meetings tomorrow to finalise their strategies for the session.

"We will corner the government over the issues of increase in VAT on petrol and diesel, withdraw of subsidy (of Rs 25) on domestic LPG cylinders which was given by our former Congress government, law and order situation and other issues," Leader of Opposition Rameshwar Dudi told PTI today.
He said that the party would highlight the "failure" of the government in providing good governance.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister said that the Budget is likely to be presented in the second week of March though the date has not been finalised yet.
"The budget will be development oriented and the government will be fulfilling promises made to the people of the state," Rathore told reporters.
Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Budget session.
Additional policemen have been deployed around the Assembly building.
