Rajasthan BJP today launched its mass contact programme - 'MahaSampark Abhiyan'- to connect with the newly-enrolled members and motivate them to actively participate in various activities of the party.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, her cabinet colleagues, party functionaries, and senior members participated in the meeting today headed by the the state party incharge Avinash Rai Khanna.
Chief Minister asked the party workers to actively participate in the mega outreach programme so that the new members listed through 'missed call' be made active.

Raje also urged all active members to popularise the state government's successful schemes.
Avinash Rai Khanna said that BJP has to reach every person who desired to be a member through 'missed call'.
The persons who had enrolled themselves with the party by giving 'missed call' on toll free number would be required to fill up a form to take membership of the party, he said.
"We have to raise the active membership by reaching 80 lakh workers who enrolled with the party," Khanna said.
State party President Ashok Parnami, Mahsampark Abhiyan Convenor Chunnilal Garasia, Co-incharge Gopal Shetty, Rashtriya Sah Sangathan Mantri V Satish, and minsiters are among those who participated in the meeting.
Many leaders who attended the meeting today reportedly themselves filled up membership form.
Later a close door meeting of selected leaders was held at Rajasthan Industry Minister Gajendra Singh Kheenvsar's residence in which Raje and senior party funcitonaries particiapted.
Media was not allowed there, but party sources said it was held to focus on better coordination between "satta and sangathan" (government and organisation).
