Rajasthan cabinet pays obeisance to former prime minister Vajpayee

The Rajasthan state cabinet today passed a resolution on the demise of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and observed two minutes of silence as a mark of respect to the poet-politician.

In at meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, members of the cabinet paid obeisance to Vajpayee, and prayed for peace to the soul and courage to the bereaved family.

In the resolution, the state cabinet talked about his commitment towards nation-building and his role in Indian politics and international diplomacy.
