Elections for 46 civic bodies in Rajasthan, including six municipal corporations, will be held on November 22, Rajasthan State Election Commission (RSEC) announced today.
Filing of nomination papers will start on November 7 with the notification of the elections, Chief Election Commissioner of RSEC Ram Lubhaya said here.
The last date of filing nomination papers will be November 11, scrutiny of the papers will take place on November 12 and withdrawal of nominations will be allowed till November 14, the CEO said.

Subsequently, the election of municipal chairman and mayors in six corporations will take place on November 26, he said.
The polls, which are taking place after five years, will be held in six municipal corporations of Jaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur and Bharatpur, 18 municipal councils and 22 municipalities, the CEO said.
Over 63.09 lakh electors will cast their votes at 6,135 polling booths in 1696 wards, Lubhaya said.
The photo ID card will be used to voters during the election process and the model code of conduct comes into effect forthwith, he said.
About the election budget, Lubhaya said for municipal corporation polls, the expenditure limit will be Rs 80,000, for municipal council, it will be Rs 60,000 and for municipalities, it will be Rs 40,000.
In 2009 civic polls, the limit was Rs 20,000, 15,000 and 10,000, respectively, for the three bodies, he added.
Special Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Navdeep Singh said there will be foolproof security arrangements for conducting free and fair polls in the state.
