Sand dune activities, live performances, concerts featuring Bollywood stars combined with a fare of Rajasthani cuisine await the New Year festivities in the state of Rajasthan.
"All the rooms have been occupied and special arrangements have been made for the New Year celebration tomorrow," Chhatrapal Singh, General Manager, Hotel Gorband Palace, Jaisalmer said.
"Food will be served in special tents on san dunes where arrangements for Rajasthan folk music and other entertainment will be there," owner of desert spring Mayank Bhatiya said.
He said that Rajasthani cuisine remains in demand but arrangement for continental food has also also been made.
The party organisers, who are busy attracting people, particularly youths to the celebrations both within the city and in its outskirts, are also planning to rope in Bollywood names this time.
"We have planned a Bollywood night in Jaipur in which Sana Khan and Bollywood singer-composer Sharib-Toshi will give their performances at hotel Clarks Amber on December 31," Asim Singh,a party organiser told PTI.
He claimed that it was the only party in Jaipur which is filled with Bollywood personalities.
Performance by Russian dancers will be the highlight of a party in hotel Country Inn.
