Mercury maintained its upward trend in entire Rajasthan, bringing relief to residents even as the weather department warned of a fresh round of cold winds in the state by the weeekend.
Jaisalmer recorded the lowest temperature of 9 degree Celsius, a MeT report said today.
Due to fog in neighbouring states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, seven trains were running late from 25 minutes to 3:40 hours and two trains rescheduled in Rajasthan, an NWR spokesman said.

Two trains connecting Sriganganagar from Rishikesh and Delhi were rescheduled, he said.
Elsewhere, the minimum temperatures were recorded in the range of 10 to 13.9 degree Celsius including Ajmer, Jaipur, Pilani, Kota, Udaipur, Barmer, Jodhpur, Mount Abu, Bikaner, Churu, and Srigangangar.
The day temperature in the entire state rose by one to five degrees.
Fresh round of cold winds is likely to hit the state by coming weekend, a forecast said.
