Rajasthan government signs 18 MoUs worth Rs 488 crore

Rajasthan government today signed 18 MoUs worth Rs 488 crore during Global Agritech Meet (Gram) in presence of agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini and mines minister Surendra Pal Singh in Udaipur.

Of the total memorandum of understandings (MoUs), 10 were signed in food processing, four in cold storage and ware house and one each in private Mandi, training and education, innovativecrop quinoa and green house farming, a release said.

Agriculture minister Saini said that MoUs will bring investment of Rs 488 crore and over 7,500 people will get employment.

He said that state will lead in processing, gradation and valuation sector.
 

The state government is working seriously on doubling the income of farmers by 2022, he added.
