Rajasthan House condoles loss of lives in J-K floods

Rajasthan House today condoled the deaths of people in Jammu and Kashmir and other states due to floods besides passing obituaries on deaths of former Governor of Goa and Maharashtra, five MPs and MLAs on the first day of the session here.

In his obituary the Speaker Kailash Meghwal said the House mourned the deaths of people, and express serious worry on those who were left "homeless" due to floods and natural disaster in J-K (Srinagar) and other states of the country.

The House also observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to departed former Governor of Goa and Maharashtra Mohmammed Fazal, five MPs and MLAs: Bhairolal Meena, Mrs Nirmala Kumari Shaktawat, Bheemraj Meena, Raghuvar Dayal and Rameshwar Dayal Saini.
 

Immediately after the obituary references the House was adjourned for the day, and it will meet again on September 17. Tomorrow the House would observe a recess.
