Rajasthan: Man killed by wife, in-laws

In a fit of rage, a 35-year-old man was attacked and subsequently killed by his wife, in-laws at Barode village here, police said today.

The couple had a long-time dispute and were staying separately in the same village, SHO, Budapeet Police Station Ashok Sharma said.

Madan Lal Gujjar used to visit his elder son regularly after both of his sons started living with their mother.

On Friday, as he went to visit his son, he came across his wife. An argument broke out and both of them got into a scuffle.

Thereafter his mother-in law and sister-in law too joined in and attacked him with axe. Gujjar received severe injuries on forehead and died on the spot, sharma said.
 

The three women have been booked under the IPC sections 302 and 34. However, they are yet to be arrested, Sharma said.

Gujjar's dead body has been handed over to his family members, and an investigation is on, Sharma added.
