Rajasthan Marudhara Grameen Bank (RMGB) today said it has installed its first own ATM and plans to set up 14 more in the current fiscal.
The first ATM was installed recently in Mandali village of Pali district in Rajasthan.
With this, the bank has made further penetration in rural areas in villages as small as 1500 population and its business exceeded the figure of Rs 10,000 crore, RMGB Chairman S P Shrimali said after the bank's Board of Directors meet here.

He said that bank has taken various initiative in order to meet its objective of rural development.
"In keeping with this, we have taken up a project of rural electrification, specially the tribal areas, where we have been lighting the villages using Solar Energy," he said.
The bank has 94 per cemt of its advances dedicated to rural areas and in order to strengthen it further, the bank has decided to set up Financial Literacy Centers across 15 districts of its functioning with an objective to draw the villagers to the banks and apprise them of various financial services.
Esides this, the bank has recently launched Kissan Clubs (One Branch One Club) in order to expedite the communication between the banks and farmers and is also about to launch its maiden affordable residential project in Kuchaman City in Nagaur district and Dausa.
