Intense heat conditions affected normal life in some parts of Rajasthan today, with Churu recording the highest temperature at 48 degree Celsius.
According to the Met department here, intense heat prevailed in some parts of the state whereas light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places.
Churu recorded the maximum temperature at 48 degree followed by Sriganganagar which sizzled at 46.3 degree, it said.

Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Pilani, Barmer and Jaipur recorded maximum temperature of of 45.5, 45.1, 44.2, 43.8 and 43.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
Light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated areas in Kota and Udaipur division as well as in Jaipur and Jodhpur in the last 24 hours.
The department has forecast same weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
