Rajasthan's BJP government has approved projects of Rs 11,930 crore in last four years whereas the previous Congress regime executed projects of Rs 4,257 crore in its entire term, Water Resources Minister Ram Pratap today claimed.
The state government took important decisions to fulfill requirement of water for agriculture, drinking and industries, he said.
The government has also constituted Rajasthan River Basin and Water Resources Planning Authority, Pratap said, listing out achievements of his departments at a press conference here ahead of fourth anniversary of the BJP government in state.

He said that government will provide water to 13 districts of the state and water for irrigation in 2 lakh hectare area under Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP).
Detailed project report of Rs 37,247 crore has been sent to Central Water Commission (CWC), he added.
Appointment of 114 assistant engineers and 994 junior engineers was done and work for long-pending Parvan irrigation project was done after approval from the Centre, he said.
