Rajasthan: Three army personnel killed in road accident

Three Military Engineering Services (MES) personnel were killed after their car crashed into a roadside well in Rajasthan's Barmer district, the police said today.

Junior Engineer Satish Gupta of Uttar Pradesh, and mechanics Abhishek Singh of Bihar and Ashutosh Dubey of UP were killed in the accident yesterday, they said.

Gupta, who was driving the car, apparently lost control over the vehicle and crashed into the well, SHO Barmer (Rural) Dhannapuri Goswami said.

They were were going from Barmer to the Jasai Military Station, he said, adding that the MES personnel were in the age group of 40 to 45 years.
 

The bodies have been kept at the district hospital's mortuary and the post mortem will be conducted after their family members reach Barmer, the police said.
