A day after an FIR was lodged by a vigilance department team against him, Uttar Pradesh BSP president Ram Achal Rajbhar today alleged that the iquiry was being conducted against him out of political vendetta.
"The vigilance inquiry is being conducted against me out of political vendetta," Rajbhar alleged here.
"I welcome the inquiry and have faith that it is conducted impartially then I will get justice and proved innocent," he said.

He said that he also came to know that crore of rupees were detected in the account of a company Anjali Organic.
"On this I have to say that if the account number of the company referred or bank's name is told then I will donate the entire amount and take retirement from the politics," he said.
Rajbhar said he got information through media that he had disproportionate assets of Rs four crore and when even the inquiry had not started the amount reached Rs 1100 crore.
"From this it is clear that action is politically inspired on the directive of the government," he alleged.
The FIR was lodged under the anti-corruption act by the vigilance department team of Faizabad in Ambedkarnagar district at the Akbarpur kotwali police station yesterday for possessing undisclosed assets worth around Rs 1,050 crores.
The state government had earlier ordered vigilance inquiry against Rajbhar in disproportionate assets case on the recommendation of the Lokayukta, which had on March 14 recommended CBI or vigilance inquiry against him.
The Lokayukta had also recommended that an FIR should also be lodged against Rajbhar, who was Transport Minister in the previous Mayawati government, under Anti Corruption Act on the charges of disproportionate assets and money laundering.
Lokayukt's recommendations were made on a complaint lodged by Anand Kumar Dwivedi, who had accused the former minister of acquiring assets in the name of his relatives beyond the known sources of his income.
