In a bid to bring government to the people, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, along with her cabinet colleagues, arrived here this afternoon and will hold meetings to address people's grievances and take up development issues.
The visit is part of the state government's 'sarkar aapke dwar' (government at your doorstep) campaign. After reaching Bikaner, the Chief Minister held a meeting her cabinet colleagues at the veterinary university campus and asked them to hold public hearings at different places, official sources said.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi will hold 'janta darbar' (public hearing) in Sridungargarh, Nokha and Bikaner panchayat samitis, whereas Medical and Health Minister R S Rathore will heard public grievances at Kolayat, Khajuwala, and Lunkaransar areas from June 20 to 23, an official said.

Panchayti Raj Minister Gulab Chand Kataria, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Hem Singh Bhadana, Tribal Area Development Minister Nandlal Meena, Cooperative Minister Ajay Singh, Agriculture Minister Prabhu Lal Saini and PWD Minister Yunus Khan will also visit various areas of Bikaner division to hear public grievances in the next ten days.
Issues related to water and electricity supplies, agriculture, canal area development, water works, education, panchayat and civic bodies would be taken up during the meetings, officials said.
