Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today directed medical department to activate block level task force to contain seasonal diseases and to cancel leaves of all medical officers.
Chairing a high-level meeting of the medical and health department at her residence here, Raje also asked the senior officials to send teams of doctors to all the districts, ensure availability of necessary medicines and testing kits, an official spokesperson said.
She also asked the officials to provide timely treatment for patients found positive for diseases like dengue.

The CM asked Chief Secretary C S Rajan to hold video conferencing with district collectors to review the situation of seasonal diseases.
The district and block level task force will take necessary action to contain spread of diseases and forward reports to the higher level, the spokesperson said.
Health Minister Rajendra Rathore, Director (Public Health) of Medical and Health department Dr B R Meena and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
