Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today directed officials to solve problems of water, power, road and irrigation raised by residents of Dholpur district during her stay there to listen to their grievances.
Domestic consumers should get 24-hour power, and farmers be ensured three phase electricity in a day, Raje told a meeting of senior bureaucrats camping with her in the Bharatpur division.
Defunct transformers should be replaced within 72 hours and those new customers who have deposited demand notice should be given connections on priority, she said.

She asked officials to ensure drinking water facility in 82 villages of Dang area and 62 villages in a belt of Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur.
She ordered repair of faulty pipeline and non-functional hand-pumps, and cleaning of canals to improve irrigation potential in the district.
Repair of road in villages and highways and bridges are to be taken up on war footing, she said.
The Chief Minister also discussed a plan for an airstrip in the region for tourism.
