Press Trust of India Jaipur
State Congress chief Sachin Pilot today accused Raje government in Rajasthan of being insensitive towards Dalits and women as the cases of atrocities against them are rising.

"Cases of human rights violation and atrocities on Dalits and women are on the rise under BJP rule in Rajasthan and this is all because of insensitivity of Raje government," Pilot said in a statement here.

He also alleged that law and order situation was deteriorating in the state but the government was not serious.

"In the last six months, several cases of atrocities on Dalits have came to light. Victims are getting no justice and Human Rights commission's Chairman and members had to meet personally with Home Minister to explain this sorry state of affairs which is a serious issue," he said in a statement.

Pilot said that the government should pay attention to such cases and should take steps to improve law and order situation in the state.
