Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today reveiwed the state bypolls results and asked the party legislators and other leaders to not be discouraged by the defeat on three out of the four assembly seats.
Addressing a party meeting convened to review the bypoll results here, Raje thanked the party workers for their efforts in the state elections.
BJP lost Nasirabad, Surajgarh and Weir and retained Kota South in the assembly bypolls which were necessitated after the sitting BJP MLAs - Sanwar Lal Jat (Nasirabad), Om Birla (Kota-South), Santosh Ahlawat (Surajgarh) and Bahadur Singh Koli (Weir) - resigned from the Assembly following their election to the Lok Sabha.
Meanwhile, State President of BJP Yuva Morcha C P Joshi handed over a cheque of Rs 11 lakh to Raje meant for the flood victims in Jammu and Kashmir.
