Actor Rajinikanth visited his brother who underwent a 'bilateral knee replacement' surgery at a private hospital here on Wednesday.
Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad, 77, the actor's brother, had severe osteoarthritis in the knee.
"Satyanarayana is doing well now and is being declared fit to walk on the same day of the surgery," said Dr Kiran Chouka, the joint replacement surgeon at Apollo Hospitals (Seshadripuram) said in a statement.
