Rajiv Atma Ram elected president of High Court Advocate Assn

Advocate Rajiv Atma Ram was today unanimously elected the president of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Senior Advocate Association, a spokesperson said here.

Atma Ram, born in 1956, joined the bar in 1981. He was designated as senior advocate in 2001.

He worked as Deputy Advocate General of Punjab in 1989 and also served as senior Standing Counsel for Union Territory for five years from 2002 to 2005.

The spokesperson said senior advocate Puran Singh Hundal was elected vice president, Major Sanjiv Sharma secretary and Gurinder Singh treasurer of the association.
