Rajma chitra prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today in the national capital today on stockists selling, triggered by reports of bumper crop.
Urad and moong were also under some pressure due to absence of buying activity against increased arrivals.
Marketmen said the fall in rajmaah chitra prices was mostly attributed to increased selling by stockists amidst reports of bumper crop.
In the national capital, Rajmah chitra traded Rs 100 lower at Rs 4,400-8,100 per quintal.
Urad, Urad chilka (local) and best traded Rs 50 each lower at Rs 6,050-6,750, Rs 7,450-7,650 and Rs 7,650-8,250 per quintal respectively.
In line with overall trend moong and dal moong fell by Rs 25 each to Rs 6,125-7,125 and Rs 7,075-7,575 per quintal.
