BJP President Rajnath Singh today accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of taking lightly the issue of terrorism emanating from Pakistan.

"The Prime Minister is taking the terrorist acts carried out by Pakistan-based outfits lightly. This is not the time to keep mum," he said here, speaking at the concluding ceremony of a rally organised by party leader from Marathwada, Pasha Patel.

Singh said if BJP came back to power at the Centre, farmers would be given loans without interest for the first year.

He said his party would provide all facilities that were available to farmers during the Vajpayee government.

Maharashtra BJP President Devendra Phadnavis termed Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar as "the Lalu Prasad Yadav of Maharashtra" and said he would be sent to jail if BJP came to power in the state.

"Maharashtra's development has slowed down due to large-scale corruption in irrigation projects when Ajit was in-charge of the Ministry," he alleged.

Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde, too, targeted the NCP leader, who is nephew of Union Minister Sharad Pawar, saying "I would put him (Ajit) in jail (if BJP came to power).
