Rajnath Singh in Goa for security review meeting

Ahead of the crucial security review meeting tomorrow in Goa, Union Home minister Rajnath Singh this evening arrived in the coastal state.

Sources in the state government stated that Singh will review the country's coastal security along with 32 law makers and top security experts in a five-star resort near here.

Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju along with state Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar will be present for the meeting.

In the evening, Singh will chair the meeting of the Consultative Committee of Members of Parliament attached to the Home Ministry.

Total eighteen members of Lok Sabha and ten of Rajya Sabha members will attend the meeting.
 

State Director General of Police T N Mohan said the issues like fundings to further strengthen the coastal security will be taken up by Goa during the meeting.

However, Mohan refused to elaborate further on his presentation before Singh.
